A moment of silence.

Now, to lighten the mood…

I don’t want to leave you in a sad mood so just look at the pictures of these pictures <%popup(20050911-3-38.jpg|400|300|HERE)%>, <%popup(20050911-0015.jpg|1024|768|HERE)%>, <%popup(20050911-cat_0065.jpg|640|480|HERE)%>, and <%popup(20050911-cat_0129.jpg|640|480|HERE)%>.

Aren’t they just the cutest things!?!? :4:

I’m ashamed to say that today’s date had completely escaped me. I don’t watch the news, am a stay at home mom, and stay buried in total tedium most of the time. I told you I’m a recluse…

I can still remember where I was when I first heard about what was happening in New York. I thought it was a movie or a … well, something fake, anyway. I don’t know exactly what. I just couldn’t believe it was real. *sighs* Humanity isn’t giving itself much hope…

Those pictures are wonderful, Aeryn. Absolutely the balm on the wound, so to speak. Wish I could grab them all.

I also thought it was a movie or a skit on some comedy show. When they showed the second plane hit, that’s when it started to sink in.

Totally unbelieveable. Such a sad sad day. :2:

I thought it was a movie and kept pushing the button on the remote to channel "5". Then I heard Katie Couric and Matt Lauer newscasting the scene.
It felt so unreal.
